In the run up to their 2016 album, Svelte’s single-a-month release strategy continues with their best track yet. This Bristol duo grew from a classical symphony orchestra, through the rich musical heritage of the city and a mutual love for pop.
Having first grabbed our ears with ‘Lipstick Melts’ and ‘Sleeping Tonight’; ‘TIME’ shows a smoother and more sultry vocal, a simple yet driving electronic beat and, yes, an addictive hook. Ample reverb gives it a sense of space, but also movement and chilled-out, evening vibes. Lyrics soar through swimming on a smoky pulse and we’re left tingling in anticipation of the tracks to come.
